This is a small, two week camp for approximately 20 students, some full-day and some half-day. Campers have the opportunity to participate in daily art projects and activities. Creative movement, arts and crafts, drama, puppets, storytelling, and outdoor activities such as scavenger hunts, and sand and water play are all part of the program.

The Creative Arts Camp is staffed by Clare Vadeboncoeur and Jean Syverud Drew.

Clare Vadeboncoeur

Clare is MCH’s Creative Movement teacher. Creative Movement is an expressive art that gives physical form to children’s ideas and feelings. She is a professional storyteller and Artistic Director of Good Heart Productions, a company that provides storytelling programs for all ages.

Jean Syverud Drew

Jean is MCH’s Art and classroom teacher. She is a part-time instructor at RI College, a freelance artist, and published ilustrator.
