The Mary Jane O’Neill Scholarship Program (MJO) is a full-tuition scholarship that supports a minority student through our entire nine year program. The MJO Scholarship was created to honor Mary Jane O’Neill, our school’s founder, and her vision of a diverse school. For four decades MCH has been committed to fostering an understanding of the diversity of people in the world. The MJO Scholarship will ensure that our school reflects the diversity of our own society in our student body.
Applicants for the MJO Scholarship are asked to complete the Financial Aid Application and additionally submit a letter which demonstrates why they feel that this award should be given to the particular candidate. The letter should describe the reason why you are applying, the need for financial assistance, how the Montessori experience is appropriate for the child and any other pertinent information. In addition, parents must submit their most recent 1040 IRS form along with other schedules which demonstrate the existence of need.
